Canine Good Neighbour:
The Canadian Kennel Club (CKC) Canine Good Neighbour (CGN) program promotes responsible pet ownership. The skills taught in this class will help you develop a well mannered, confident, and controlled dog in everyday situations both at home and in public.
This is a fun, non-competitive class geared to successful completion of the Canine Good Neighbour (CGN) test, however, the skills have 'real world' value.
To learn more about CGN tests, click here. The CGN test allows the handler to demonstrate confidence and control in 12 skill areas. It assesses the handler and dog’s relationship, together with the handler’s ability to control the dog.
A 4 to 6 foot fabric or leather leash is required for this class. Bring your own leash or, if you wish, leather leashes will be available for purchase at the class.
