What is the DOT?

The DOT stands for Designated Odour Test, and is a test offered by SDDA (Sport Detection Dog Association). The test is a containter search with 1 hide and up to 14 containers total. Click here for the description of the test in the SDDA Rule book. The aim of the test is to see whether dogs can identify a scent and have a handler call an alert. This is a great way to assess whether or not you are ready to compete!
